ATTENTION - Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, this ski resort is closed until the end of the season.
The family ski area around the Almberg (1139 m) is often referred to as the "Glacier of the Bavarian Forest" due to its security of having snow. Modern snow cannons on all descents allow perfectly groomed slopes and consistently good snow conditions. This gorgeous ski resort, in which especially families and beginners feel comfortable, usually has snow from Christmas till march.
With a total of 4 ski lifts, 1 rope lift, 4 magic carpets and a double chair lift the transport capacity is 10000 persons / h. Ski rental and two ski workshops are available at the slopes and in Mitterfirmiansreut. 800 car parking spaces, as well as the 20 bus parking spaces are free.
