ATTENTION - Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, all ski resorts in Italy are closed until the end of the season.
The Gran Sasso Tourist Center is the ski area of the city of Aquila, composed of 3 lifts: a cable car, an updated six seater chairlift, a four-seater chairlift, which serves 10 downhill slopes for all levels (from the school field to black) and the snow park.
The Gran Sasso d'Italia cable car connects the tourist resort of Fonte Cerreto Assergi (1,115 m), to the western slope of Campo Imperatore (at 2,130 m), in the heart of the Gran Sasso d'Italia massif, the roof of the Apennines which, as we know, almost reaches 3,000 m.
The opening and closing dates of the ski resort are subject to weather conditions. Please always confirm the weather conditions before going to the ski resort.
