ATTENTION - Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, all ski resorts in Italy are closed until the end of the season.
From November to March, it often snows in Gambarie. The ski resort is in the Aspromonte National Park- two chairlifts and two ski lifts are available. In the presence of snow, two chairlifts always work and from the highest point of the slopes, you can see a truly breathtaking spectacle while skiing.
You can look at: the Strait of Messina, the Aeolian Islands, the Sicilian mountains of the Peloritani, the Gulf of Nicotera with the entire plain of Rosarno and Gioa Tauro to end up on the majestic and snow-capped volcano of Etna with its marine coast of Catania Messina. In short, skiing in Gambarie is a real pleasure and it is like feeling a little on the roof of the world and then ... going down to the valley and then up again.
