Winter sports area Wiriehorn
The size of the Wiriehorn ski area will surprise you. The medium-difficulty pistes on the northern slopes of Wiriehorn are well covered with artificial snow, allowing for an early start to the ski season. The terrain lends itself both to the connoisseur of perfectly groomed pistes and to snow-freaks wanting moguls and troughs in steep terrain. A snow park and free-ride piste at Homad provide a lot of fun. Non-skiers can enjoy the 6.5 km winter hiking trail and the 5km-winding toboggan run from Hotel Wiriehorn at the top station of the chairlift.
